Currently in the midst of prepping his third studio album, Poetry Of The Deed, which will see Frank Turner recruit his outstanding live band for the recording process and venture in a more rock direction. 2009 looks set to be the year that finally propels him to superstardom.
Honing their skills through a demanding touring schedule, the band has developed into an incredibly tight rock outfit, adding an extra dimension to some of Frank’s songs. Grammy nominated producer Alex Newport – who has previously worked with Death Cab For Cutie, At The Drive-In, Two Gallants – will be at the helm after contacting Frank directly asking if they could work together. The results will be undoubtedly, spectacular.
