Scottish indie-popsters The Dykeenies have gone hyperactive and hyper-creative with their new material. The three-year rollercoaster ride since their conception would have sent many a rockstar staggering off to rehab, or at least mincing around Shoreditch in shades. But not them. Their Cumbernauldian working class roots simply don't allow for any diva-like tendencies. Instead The Dykeenies have gone from the glitz and glamour to practically becoming part of the rehearsal studios' furniture again, writing and practicing harder than ever.
