The Cheek - formerly known as Cheeky Cheeky and the Nosebleeds - are fronted by vocalist Rory, supported by Charlie’s guitar and vocal, with Christian also on guitar, Ali on drums and Thom playing bass. Charlie, who has more than a passing trace of the mod about him, with his permanent Ray-Bans and dapper dress sense, tells of how the band got going. All school buddies hailing from Suffolk, things really kicked off once “Steve Lamacq started playing our songs early on, landing us some London gigs”. The boys have been touring since January and show no signs of abating, with dates extending well into December.
